Lately

Well, besides the fact that i've been a blogging bummer (sorry bout that)...I have a perfectly legit excuse: i have nothing to blog about. So actually, you should be thanking me because I may just bore you to pieces. However, I shall pull bits and pieces together to make a blog about randomness. So here it goes...

Yesterday, Lyla Jane Leavitt was born! A new baby cousin for me! Pretty sure she will be introduced into the blog-o-sphere soon...that post will happen HERE.

My WONDERFUL cuz Annie has agreed to accompany my sister and I to MICHAEL BUBLE! (enter girlish scream here) cuz i cannot wait to hear him crooning to me from the nose bleeds. Count down to August 28 starts now.

Besides working, I have been trying to have somewhat of a social life...which includes the singles branch. So we went bowling and my team may have had the most legit bowling names ever. From LtoR, Taryn It Up, K Rad, Willy The Kid & Saucy Aussie.

Pretty sure the fab 4 have been re-united after a small 10 year break. You see, the Willards and my fam were neighbors in the 90's. Those were the days.

GAH. im 20.

20 kind of seems like a big milestone. People actually do things with their lives in their 20's. I mean, my mom was listing off everything she did in her 20's: Got married, graduated college, had me, moved to NV, moved again, had my sister, built a house...the list goes on...and here I am at the beginnging. So i've come to the decision that the choices I make now will definitely make a difference in how i live my life...forever! So, just a few things I hope to succeed in my 20's: Keep going to school, go on a mission, get married, graduate (those 2 in either order haha) and from there i am undecided. Gotta leave some room for spontaneity, right? Because:

"If you wait to do everything until you're sure it's right, you'll probably never do much of anything." -Win Borden

I like that...maybe it's because it gives me an excuse to procrastinate ;) So, here's to the next 10 years, planned out...with some surprises.

Now a few pictures from celebrating yesterday. Me and the fam headed to Vegas and hit up the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, Fashion Show Mall, Outlet Mall, and MGM.

{i'm still taking applications for those who would like to attend Michael Buble's concert with me on August 28}

{oh Tiffany & Co. Someday our paths will cross}

I especially enjoyed all the facebook messages and texts form all of you. Thanks!

Happy 4th!

We celebrated our 4th of July on Saturday...celebration which included:

Early morning 4wheeler ride out to Wheelie Flats

{just imagine Ari bustin through that mud puddle behind them, trying not to get stuck, and you can hear Mady screaming}

Family

{and glow in the dark apparel}

And of course, our own firework show
My favorite thing about the 4th: means my bday is only 2 days away :)

Manti Trip

This past weekend I went to Manti, Utah with the singles branch and attended the Manti Pageant. If you've ever been, you know that the actual pageant is put on the side of the hill which the temple sits on. Half the fun is trying to spot people running up and down that slip and bite it. (sorry...but it definitely keeps you entertained)

Sunflowers & Swimming Pools

Monday we went to see Tarzan the musical at Tuacahn. There was lots of harnesses/flying which made it really cool, and Tarzan was very muscular...which also made it enjoyable ;) Before the show we ate at Paula's. yum!

And, we got a pool!

And....we have giant sunflowers! Welcome, Summer!

Bamboozle Roadshow!!!

YES PLEASE!!! this show was so awesome. And YES, i got us there in one piece. haha after accidentally getting on the 215 (wooooops) we made some minor detours and finally arrived. And ok, ok i didn't get up to front row but i did get up to the 3rd by Boys Like Girls! Holla!

My Review:

-Shwayze, could have totally missed that set and been totally fine with it. ya, no thank you.

-Forever the Sickest Kids was awesome! as i suspected...

-Hellogoodbye was just OK. Kept running into thier keyboardist after their show haha

-Good Charlotte was by far my favorite. Those guys have been around for quite some time! I remember singing their Young and The Hopeless album with Taryn while playing American Girl Dolls back in the day. hahaha

(making our way up closer!)

-All Time Low, definitely the dirtiest band of the night. Not a huge fan of thier stuff. Am a huge fan of thier guitarist though. (sean faris look-alike!)

-Boys Like Girls, great set! I caught Martin Johnson's guitar pick! hahaha he's the main vocalist. Definitely a great band.

-Third Eye Blind, we left for and stood in the back...then left early. My dawgs were barking, if you catch my drift.

Incred Night!
