Empty res...

Contemporary Oriental

Project Update! This time around, everyone has a different style/room and we had to find fabrics, finishes, furniture (all that jazz...) and produce a material board. I had CONTEMPORARY ORIENTAL bathroom, and this is how it turned out...I know you might not be able to read the Key and tell what every piece is, but I think I like it! :)

About That Time

It's about that time where:

It's hard to concentrate in class...

I'm making Thanksgiving break plans with Taryn :)

Homework seems to go on forever!

Conversations in class start with, "so, are you ready for the break?" (infact, it's pretty much all my friends and I talk about)

There seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel-the end of the semester is actually coming...

*on a positive note, my history professor uploaded a study guide online...all the correct answers had an asterisk next to it. I'm guessing this wasn't supposed to happen, but it saved my Sunday night sanity.

I'm flying home Thursday night and i'm soooo excited!!!

Texture Ball

Guess what?! YES, another project! This time we had to get a styrofoam ball and cover it with ANYTHING (as long as it was recyclable) to creat texture. So, I used little wooden spoons...like the kind you get in those icecream cups. Painted them and hot glued them to tin foil. What do you think?

Another.....PROJECT!

Another project! This one was inspired by our initials. (don't worry, when I say, "it's inspired from", it isn't supposed to resemble it...got it, Mom?) :) Anyway, Once we sketched the design, we used Adobe Illustrator to draw it out exactly the way we wanted it to look (pic #1). Then created a textured pattern out of a few more (pic #2). Then created the pattern we ultimately want (pic #3). I have to decide what this pattern would look good on...a tie? pillow? shirt? etc...What do you think it would look good on? Give me some feedback guys...
