The promised video...enjoy.

This is the surrey ride i told you all about in my family vacation post.

Family Trip to California

Last week, we took our family trip to CA. We hit Hollywood, LA, an Angels game, a few different beaches, Monterey, Solvane (this Danish town), and other places. These are just a few pictures of our trip... In the first one, we are in downtown Hollywood at Grauman's Chinese Theater, where the hand/foot prints of different stars are. I am with cat woman...let me share our conversation with you...
Cat woman: You want to take a picture with me meow meow
me: uhm...okay
CW: I take tips meow meow
me: I don't have any money
CW: we take picture anyway meow meow, maybe your mommy has some money meow meow
me: uhhhh
(mom gives cat woman a dollar)
CW:Thank you welcome to Hollywood meow meow.

Angels game in Anaheim, CA. they played the Indians and lost! go figure- i always thought i was bad luck.
This is at Santa Monica Pier. me, mom and mady rode the ferris wheel. it was beautiful from the top! While we were there, they were filming a Nike commercial, so keep your eyes peeled for me on tv! haha, just kidding

Everyone needs to visit Hearst Castle! it is so amazing. 68,000 sq.ft! including his 3 guest houses. this is the outdoor swimming pool. The inside swimming pool was tiled with real gold. There were tons of ancient artifacts from different countries...like some of the columns used on the outdoor pool were really from ancient rome. and all of this was only one of his vacation homes.
ATTENTION ALL PARENTS: if you have the need to embarrass your poor children...rent one of these. i'll post a video later...oh, it's even better.

tagged...memory lane

Let's take a trip down Memory Lane....Do you remember when? Here are the rules:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you.
3. If you can't say something nice, don't say nothin' at all ☺
4. Consider this a Tag: if you've read it, you have to do it!

Volleyball Camp

Every summer, dad takes volleyball teams to UVU for a volleyball camp. I love this trip because week of vball camp=week of shopping for me! My mom, sisters and I take advantage of this week and go to all the malls, byu campus, visit cousins and our favorite restaurants (brick oven, old spaghetti factory, creamery on 9th and so much more)...here are a few pics of this fun trip!

Here I am infront of the Maeser building...see the Y in the background?

Ari hated the whole shopping business...most of the time she wanted to go watch volleyball with dad...mabye that means she'll discontinue the dance tradition and play sports. haha, we'll see. However, after i told her i could push her in a shopping cart, she was all for it. it was funny.

On friday, after the girls left camp, my family went to the smith fieldhouse. the vball net was all set up and my dad had to walk out on the court and get the feel. haha..i had to snap a picture- i think he was in heaven.

If you haven't been to the Cougar hall of fame, and you're interested in that stuff, it's pretty cool. This is the size of Jeff Chapman's hand (played basketball for BYU) ...funny story: he was in school the same time as my dad, and they were playing flag football on the same field, well, somehow, they ran into eachother and this guys finger went into my dads mouth! lol. By the size of his fingers, you'd think my dads tonsils would have been taken out haha.

This is the size of BYU's smallest gymnast- ari does a great job posing just like her. :)

4th of July traditions

Every year for the 4th, my family wakes up really early- 5:00ish and go riding! This year we planned to go to the Narrows but didn't quite make it. we followed the railroad tracks and the river...we smelled something dead and saw vultures surrounding it...i say it was a body haha.

On the 4th we also celebrate my bday, which is really on the 6th, with a family bbq. so, i got some early presents (sweet!) :) this is tar, mady, me and ari
