FHE at the dunes

For FHE we drove to the dunes. We had a lot of fun jumping off hills and roasting marshmallows and making smores. It was way fun!

dorm 401! wootwoot

This is my 1/2...getting in and out of the bed is something that is kinda scary lol. i had all my stuff piled up so i could get down the ladder just right. well, during the night it fell and there was no way to get down haha. So, the next day i unpacked.

Life as a college student...

Well, i checked into BYUI yesterday. So far it has felt like EFY all over again. playing games, staying in a dorm, meeting new people. All of this is kinda weird. Maybe it just hasn't clicked that i'm actually a college student...weird! I am in the process of unpacking all of my stuff, and let me tell you, it is taking forever! I was gone all day today playing games and getting a tour of campus. President Clark and his wife spoke to all of the freshman this morning and in a few minutes i'm going to a talent show. I will post some pics of stuff as soon as my "loft" haha doesn't look like a tornado just ran through.

Since Ty and Annie were in New York, Lucy and Abby got to stay here in Logandale! It was fun playing with them and hanging out at the football game too.

Am I the only one who gets a kick out of watching speed walking on the Olympics? Last night I was watching the Olympics with my sister and Taryn...and this came on. I couldn't stop laughing. I thought speed walking was something old people did when it hurt too bad to run anymore. oh man...youtube it or watch it for yourself if you haven't seen it already. Now, Michael Phelps on the other hand...:) haha jk.

2 week countdown

Exactly 2 weeks until i leave for BYUI! Got any advice for me? I think I will seriously suffer from frost bite this winter. That will be a huge change, comparing it to the winters in NV! Actually, i'm thinking this whole experience will be such a huge change for me. I'm getting excited...

Great Self-esteem

At Santa Monica Pier, my sisters and I split off from my parents and decided to go shopping at all the little stores...this is a pic of my parents buying some refreshing snacks...my mom is bending over right next to my dad (the guy in the speedo) i didn't post this right after we got home because it is too embarrassing, but i came to my senses and thought you guys might like this.


okay, you may have noticed that guy has a little too much hair to look my dad...when we were all walking along the pier these 2 passed us, and i snapped a quick photo...we couldn't stop laughing. You have to have an immense quality of self-esteem to walk around like this in public-don't you think?
